  Much of the action takes place at the food court at a mall after hours, as seen from a human standpoint and also seen from the standpoint of rats. Other scenes take place at the boss' office and occasional mall shops.



• Plot summary

  Rats have to decide whether to say on Main Street during the winter, or retreat to a nice warm mall, where food is plentiful and easy. The cleanup crew at the mall includes some nut cases that infer from questionable evidence the presence of rats trying to communicate with humans. Are they?
